Addition:
J2M5 33 had a higher altitude engine Kasei 26a with a three-stage compressor, which allowed to reach a speed of 603 km/h at an altitude of 8000 m.
There were two to three armament variants:
1. 4x cannon type 99 model 2 caliber 20 mm
2. 2x 20 mm cannon and 2x 30 mm cannon
3. 4x 20 mm cannon and 2x 20 mm cannon in the fuselage behind the cabin
