-1V17 (Artillery Command Post) (ACRV)
The 1V17 Artillery Command Post was developed to direct the fire of towed artillery and rocket launcher units. It is based on the BTR-60 chassis, The 1V17 system consists of BTR-60 vehicles (1V18, 1V19).These vehicles are the wheeled equivalent of the 1V14 and 1V15 vehicles and two trucks on the GAZ-66B (6 x 6) chassis designated 1V110 and 1V111. The entire 1V17 system is a wheeled variant of the 1V13 system. 1V17 serves as the FDC fire control point. The BTR-60 vehicles designated 1V18 and 1V19 are earmarked as forward artillery observers which collect, sort and send reconnaissance messages to the fire control position 1V17. These vehicles have had the gunnery armament removed from the turrets and replaced by observation instruments and range finders.
