Note:		 Sbor byl vytvořen v červnu 1937 v rámci Armádního velitelství Východ. Byla tvořena 26. , 27. a 32. divizí. Měl své velitelství v Sariñeně. Kryl frontovou linii, která vedla z jihu Huesca — sousedící s X. armádním sborem — k řece Ebro — sousedící s XII. armádním sborem. Během následujících měsíců se část jeho sil zúčastnila ofenzivy na Zaragozu a Belchite, které však nepřinesly kýžené výsledky. Na jaře 1938, během tažení za Aragón, nebyly síly XI. armádního sboru schopny vypořádat se s tlakem frankistických jednotek. Počátkem dubna si zbytky armádního sboru vybudovaly své pozice podél obranné linie řeky Segre. Během následujících měsíců se neúčastnil příslušných vojenských operací, reorganizoval své poničené síly po stažení v Aragonii. Po zahájení tažení v Katalánsku udržoval odpor ve svých obranných pozicích, a některým jeho jednotkám se podařilo úspěšně vzdorovat — jako tomu bylo v případě 26. divize. Přesto nepřátelský tlak nepolevoval a počátkem roku 1939 byl XI. armádní sbor spolu se zbytkem jednotek Armádního velitelství Východ nucen stáhnout se k francouzským hranicím. The Corps was created in June 1937 within the Army Command East. It was formed by the 26th, 27th and 32nd divisions. He had his headquarters in Sariñena. He covered the front line that led from the south of Huesca — adjacent to the X. Army Corps — to the Ebro River — adjacent to the XII. army corps. During the following months, part of his forces took part in offensives on Zaragoza and Belchite, which did not bring the desired results. In the spring of 1938, during the campaign for Aragón, the forces of XI. army corps able to deal with the pressure of the Francoist units. In early April, the remnants of the Army Corps established their positions along the defensive line of the Segre River. During the following months he did not take part in the relevant military operations, reorganizing his damaged forces after the withdrawal in Aragon. After the start of the campaign in Catalonia, he maintained resistance in his defensive positions, and some of his units managed to resist successfully — as was the case with the 26th Division. Nevertheless, the enemy pressure did not let up, and at the beginning of 1939, the XI. army corps together with the rest of the units of the Army Command East forced to retreat to the French border.
