- born 30.6.1897
- as a high school graduate of the Sušice grammar school he was sent to the Italian front, in November 1915 he crossed the front and as a Czechoslovak volunteer. legions fought in the 3rd Italian Army, May 20, 1918 severely wounded in Piava
- from October 1919 at the intelligence department of the capital. staff,
- 1935 - since January - Head of the Defense Intelligence Section II. department of the General Staff, achieved great success in the work, participated in the extraction of agent A - 54,
- 14.3.1939 flew with others into exile, until the beginning war led the Polish intelligence branch, then worked in France and after its fall in Great Britain, where he again led the defense section of the London MNO
- 1942–45 - commanded the intelligence department of the MNO, after the liberation the head of the political intelligence department of the Ministry of the Interior
- in January 1946, under pressure from the Communist Party, he was removed from office, he became the chairman of the disciplinary appeal committee of the MNO
- 8.3.1948 - convicted, tortured during interrogations, 7.9. sentenced to 5 years, but served a year more
