ČSLA - Hloubkový průzkum

here is scanned photo from year 91 from shooting range Podvoří - VVP Boletice.
Not much quality, but I will try to describe it:
on the blouse - pockets on the sleeves and "a cord stretched in the tunnel of the lower seam" provide additional "storage space", plus additional pockets inside...
on the trousers - the right thigh pocket is missing, in the seam sewn in a sheath for an assault knife or maybe for a "digger" with a belt clip, the flap was fastened with (if I'm not mistaken) 4 flat buttons (not the "parachute" ones that are on the assault knife sheath).
There are two more pockets with the flap in the front below the waist (not visible here, they are hidden under the blouse...), but in the photo in the book about Czechoslovak paratroopers they are a bit visible, because the soldier is "young" and doesn't know what the "Šumava hachava" can do yet.
The trousers were totally cool - the classic "85" had a leg with a belt under the heel "like in sweatpants", but the "V" had a leg in a rubber band - over the crotch of the vz.60 canada and from the knee down there was an inner leg sewn in, made of the same material as the "soft" green overalls and also had a belt under the heel.
This had several advantages: in deep snow or dew the trousers did not get wet so quickly, they kept warm and "the syndrome of unmasking symptoms of polished boots was to some extent suppressed...".
In addition, the conscript soldiers were supposed to wear brown boots with their "85s" (and therefore, for example, didn't have to re-glue their buckles with leucoplast or carpeting for parachute jumps), but as you can see from the photo, this was not so strictly adhered to..., especially by the commanders in the VR vto...
If I go back to the photo in the book, I don't understand how the guy stuffed those double legs into his boots - that must have pushed pretty hard (the rubber was pretty thick), I guess he never really flew around the woods in it...
If you're wondering that in this photo the lieutenant has "shiny stars", it's true, for a long time I wore stained ones, but then we had to change this marking, it was an order, so we (often, not always) sewed a button on the sleeve and the epaulets were "turned" down - the rank wasn't visible and also the epaulets didn't tear so much when the guy dropped the bag...
As for other equipment, we had classic vz.61 bags for quite a long time (copies of the Soviet type), then came the new "field" ones made of silk fabric (the same as on the cover of the MRP-4 miniature radar searcher), at first blue-grey and then more olive, it was an attempt at a "modular system", but not much, it was quite soft and didn't hold its shape as well as the "one-sixty" ones.
As well as the bags, for a long time we used to get webbing belts (the soft, light-coloured ones with holes in them), then we got the silk ones, they were at least a bit better - they held the scorpion holster better...
Because the colour of the "85s" just didn't suit, we often modified them in various ways, for example with mud, but the outfitters shouted a lot, sometimes sacking or a "poncho" made of leftover camouflage with a bit of "nature" helped.

Try Mr. Šolc's book Red Berets - there's a lot about the development from 1945 to... and there are a couple of photos from the period when the transition from "operational" and "tactical" airborne troops back to the activity of deep (in today's terms special - although the comparison may be a bit misleading for the uninitiated) reconnaissance.
Otherwise, from personal experience - man, you probably won't believe this, we somehow didn't have time to take pictures... or we were forbidden/not allowed to (and the group could have had a Zenith photo rifle).

Up and down!!!

If you're going to sculpt a "dredger" wearing the '85 camouflage, those were different from the classic "fifty-eight" - for example, sleeve pockets and a pocket on the right thigh for a striker (or "digger" with a handle and a flap for the buttons).
The bag vz. 61 commonly available in army shops (it was for the "60s", but initially also for the "85s") - I can take pictures...

Thanks for the tip, although I doubt that the book will be photos of what I need. But even reading it can be interesting, I'm sure I'll look her up.

Otherwise, it's pretty clear to me that those who "had the honor", not sure time again, probably not even a permit and probably even the taste of whatever document, especially if it was to be about the pants 8.) . Rather, I thought about it, there are people who have the equipment at home (need the backpack and clips, I almost had too) and they could be a couple of high-quality pictures, need to the equipment deployed and on the ground (or on a bed :and under.) help. I'm just concerned about the appearance and location of the pockets, you weren't there to see very well..

Ahead of packing material for the completion of the task and then only the "things of personal consumption", etc.
Mathematically, torba vz. 61 has a volume of 10.8 or 11 litres,
7.4-7.5 liters of the center part of the (2,2 dm x 1.2 dm x 2.8 dm) and
2x 'pocket' after 1.7 liter (1,1 dm x x0,6 dm x 2.6 dm).

At the bottom of the bottom of the center section there are two patch tape - binding sites,
at the bottom of the bottom central portion in the corners of the 2 x 2 ribbon - binding sites,
on the side pockets with their lower edges 2 ribbon - binding sites,
on the flap of the center section 2 x 2 ribbon - binding sites.
Additional material is given to consolidate under the flap of the center section and also under her clamping of the tape, further forward on the load-bearing straps to belt loops and there are two průvlečky on the thorns "atombordelu" GTC-61.
Torba is thus given gradually "expand" to placata so as to fit under the main parachute.
In addition, it is necessary to take into account the "storage space" in the pockets of the blouse and the pants, in a holster on the mask etc etc. Something after the drop vybalilo of "GéKáček" and or stretched as such, god forbid, that we used to be MRP-4 (a miniature radar seeker), WITH-BON sets and more juicy as náloživo...
In other words, a person could just gain even 30 pounds extra and I'm not talking about the next... the technical limit of used parachutes in terms of load capacity.

The water is carried in a bottle and for regulating of natural resources, according to the type of task expected (and planned) so a maximum of 1 replenishment (and that only in the case of a supplementary task or complete přeúkolování), otherwise the group after 2-4 days of performance of the task (in combat conditions) "written off from a state consumed with revenge" and had to ride out from local sources to exceedances of own armies (in the case of offensive operations), or downloaded into a custom report...on foot.

I have experienced while practicing "extraction" from the depth of the assembly with the use of helicopters, but by itself it on the then conditions, it was very complicated (organization, ensure, guide, cover,...) and when the anticipated loss in performance of the task that was just unlikely..

In the picture in the annex there is a paratrooper on the line clothes with parachutes OVP and the SEN-80 and with the container GK-30 fixed on the padákovém harness.
Container GK-30 to connect to a harness of a parachute supporting a strap with a carabiner, which it was necessary to double turn around the sciatic strap parachute harnesses and carbine, then turn on to the eyelets on the supporting strap.
Then a man sat down at the container and through his "ears" of the threaded fastening strap of the parachute harness (strap marked yellow at the end, hangs or is seen on a guy for stationary, I ustrojeným guy)). When everything is properly utáhlo, had such a man to lift the other two, so he can stand up and walk with it too clawed couldn't...
In addition to the strap loosening up "after touch" because he was not over SEN-80 see...
Furthermore, it is from the photos of the distinct location of the device KAP-3P on the right side of the OVP-80...
If someone thinks the guy in the photo a somewhat "naducanější", you're right - in the machine "was always the last and "featured" as the first in výsadce...

For Fox - on this photo you can see how broad they are load-bearing straps of the bag vz.61 - so imagine, how is sticking your under the epaulettes on the 85kách - that's why we epaulettes turned the knob, extra sewn on to the sleeve of the blouse..

I would like to ask Paliče: you had on the left sleeve nášivku as is in the above mentioned book? Even on the one photo it is not visible.

I would like to still Paliče asked whether, if the epaulets on the "85" zapínaly on the plastic studs, or have had, on the upper ephod epoletový stud and the plastic is zapinal just strap that own nárameník bore - so how is this seen in the photographs of the Gulf 90-91 (there but had the "85" of the summer)?.

The answer is not simple and, in principle, is: HOW WHEN, HOW, WHO...
"Parapi.and the" was after a lot of misunderstanding (as of a given time, so the possibilities of production, etc) very in short supply and therefore paid: If not by all, so no one...
Another things is chaos, which is related to their colours - sometimes according to them, the distinction between the battalions (a regiment, then a brigade), but should be too the group of the hpz within the rhpz reconnaissance battalion, and even I experienced even different colors within the group according to specialization... and this was was the "colour music".

So I don't know if I'll lišáku satisfy - but this is not important... Try to turn on someone is to be collected and advise You how it actually was/should be... or rather will do in the club to throw a good goulash.

This Fox – paratrooper:
On the epaulets of the garment vz. 85 had to našívat green studs with swords – if I remember, there were originally the classic "čtyřdírkové bakelity" – it was enough to then put the fatigues to the dry cleaners and if you are their "mečovky" neodpáral, you could beg for výkoňáka on the new... Too, it could solve even a paper clip, but the findings of such "illegal modifications" it was quite prosecuted...
Until about 1990, or no later than the spring 91 is carried on the "85kách" usual "field" hodnostní designation – hence the stained stones at the non-commissioned officers, pickled kolejničky for absíků, pickled small and large stars in praporčíků and officers, and gray (for praporčíků) or brown (for senior officers) of the garden...
Then some bambulu thought that the soldier has/can be seen in the field and had everything to change for the "shiny" – that is, from the blýskavé pips at the corporal until after the golden garden plots for senior officers – and then it was actually a convenient "roll over" epaulets, because even on them had to be "silver" or "gold" button with pacičkami . The same thing they did to the neighbours with the regiment on "bigoškách" – they had shiny badges on field čepicích 85 – and we (thankfully) still only got turned berets...
But as you see on one of the previously attached pictures, nothing was defined so strictly, that it was not violated (see the plastic knob on the ephod nadproučíka... - I have the impression that it's just from the transition period to the "leštěnkám".
So just for clarification – perhaps I remember it well..

The organization of pzpr has evolved and can be stated, that from the inception of the pzpr from the original reconnaissance rot was the organization of the degree in a given period is the same (válečně), but peacefully, differed battalion from the battalion, according to whether it was the formation in Slovakia, Moravia or in the Czech republic, whether there need to have been "PéEška" or not, as power was superior to the degree of "zrámcován", etc.
I need to be experienced in the organization of the battalion of the tank reconnaissance company, then the depth of the rota on the OT-65 and UAZech, then the depth of the company without the OT-65, of the rhpz based company guard, then erhápézetku renewed, a reconnaissance company on the BMP-1 and OT-65 (OT-65 AND and RL), the same reconnaissance company on the BMP-1 without the towers (DH-90), and then picking "new" BMP-1 (which were in significantly worse condition than those of our original) and BPzV Svatava, the construction crews of the technical survey, etc, etc...
Quite exceptional was (if I remember correctly) 1-pzpr in Podbořanech, they had the only ones in the army (in addition to the school in Vyškov) in the organization of reconnaissance is the rot and vehicle BRM-1K.

In general, the banner should always in addition to the headquarters and "jébézetek" always three "combat" column and "something to do - be company commander of the radio and the radio survey, that have been developed on the habitats directive "on the line" (our need was on the Meridian), which "fulfil the combat task in peace," monitoring radioprvozu for the western boundary of the CZECHOSLOVAK socialist republic, and also (in cooperation with the "wings") of the gonio - sighting...

Faly, whereas the process of forgetting is rapid and memory has a limited capacity, try to make a query on the vojenstvikvalitně (ahead of it find in google), there You will provide a truly thoughtful person the answer.
After all, after me, do you want me to it was looking for itself - it's already here it was - the response to the query, and long collecting the materials and in the end finding the interviewer, that in the "archive" found what he was looking for in the beginning and that. thanks....
