At about 14:20 central european summer time, there was an attack on our patrol through a suicide attack, a car crammed with explosives. Was injured 5 of our soldiers one of them severely, however none of them have to be life-threatening. The attack occurred near the base of the Bagrám for whose protection our soldiers care.

Explosives in a civilian vehicle was initiated in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle patrols. As a result of explosion the armored vehicle, MRAP flipped over, and injured five Czech soldiers of the crew. Four soldiers In. B. (1985), M. J. (1984), M. With. (1976), M. W. (1992) were slightly injured and one soldier D. To. (1983) was injured severely. Wounded soldiers were air transported to the military hospital at the base of the Bagrám. Three have already been released from the hospital to my unit and one soldier with minor wounds and remains in hospital for observation. Heavily wounded soldier was operated on and now is in stable condition and out of danger.
