Karkadan
Armored truck designed to transport 24 soldiers in conditions of low-intensity conflict, urban combat or as a means to move the same amount of nationals of the components of homeland security. In addition to this basic version was planned possibility of the derived command car, medical vehicles, salvage and the workshop of the car or automobile for radiation, chemical and biological survey of the decontamination capability.
As the basis of the vehicle Karkadan served to the chassis of one of the prototypes of the trucks ATC 6x6 developed for the israeli army. Made was the only one specimen, which was in October 2005 presented to the american arms fair AUSA 2005. After having served as a demonstrator, but no customer name. In the end he stayed in the premises of the ATC in Fort Wayne, where it fell into disrepair without the removed engine and transmission, which had served for spare parts for fire specials ATC operated in the USA and built on the chassis of Tatra. After the collapse of the company ATC was Karkadan in 2015 repurchased one american collector, who performed his reconstruction.
