21.11.2017 - Zimbabwe: po vojenském puči rezignoval prezident Mugabe

After the military coup, adopted by the general zimbabwean public, and then it left his own party, resigned his office of president of the Robert Gabriel Mugabe. He did so at the last minute, otherwise would have been a function of deprived and did not relate to it as a "pardon," that he was offered (he will not be confiscated property, or at least part of it, or not, together with his wife criminally prosecuted). Zimbabwe located in the long term in a tough crisis, when it is nezaměstnáno about 90% of the working-age population. The big problem is corruption, though alone, Mugabe has the wealth somehow neoháněl, his nearest relatives it was pointedly clear. Mugabe replaced by Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was still relatively recently vice president. Then he was out of their positions revoked - there was speculation that the old president wanted his office to pass his significantly younger wife. However, the question whether a change at the top position will bring the desired changes. Since Mnangagwa does not exactly have the best reputation. And there are suspicions that he has on his credit a number of murders and other not very democratic decision.

Devadesátitří-year-old Mugabe ruled the country for 37 years since 1980, as prime minister and then from 1987 as president, he was the oldest head of state in office, has surpassed even the british queen Elizabeth II.
