The israeli navy should be in the next ten years receive an additional three submarines of class Dolphin (דולפין, Dolfin). Israel operates five submarines of this class, and in 2018 it should receive the sixth. The seventh, eighth and ninth submarine should gradually replace in the service of the first three submarines (Dolphin, Tekuma, and Leviathan). Submarines should be made in the German shipyard ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS) in Kiel. The German federal government with the trade already agreed.
