František Hekl's Spitfire
Scottish Aviation Museum (Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum, GPS: 55°05'25.60 "N 03°34'07.20 "W) has put on display a restored Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IIA, number P7540, which was pulled from Loch Doon (55°15'03.02 "N 04°21'52.04 "W) years ago. According to the surviving documents, a Czechoslovak pilot František Hekl of the 312th Squadron crashed with this aircraft.
