08.05.2017 - Lenka Šmerdová povýšena do generálské hodnosti

Historically the first woman promoted to the rank of general today has become dvaapadesátiletá Lenka Šmerdová. President Miloš Zeman further promoted to the rank of brigadier general, deputy commander of the air force Peter Hromka, director of the Agency of communication and information systems Francis Ridzáka and deputy commander of the Ground forces Ivo the Roof.


Higher rank has also won four veterans of the second world war. Former brigadier general Emil Boček became a major general. Colonels Pavel Vranský, Václav Kuchynka and Miroslav Antonín Liškutín promoted to brigadier generals.


To the rank of brigádních generals was on Monday promoted five senior officials of the police, fire brigade and customs administration. They are the deputy of the police president Petr Petrik, the director of the prague police Miloš Trojánek, general director of the General directorate of customs Milan his present, deputy general director of firefighters Joseph Nightingale and director of the pilsen firefighters Francis Pavlas.
