Garrison headquarters of the Army of the United states of Rhineland-Palatinate (United States Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz, USAG Rheinland-Pfalz) ensures operation less than thirty bases, which are located on the territory of the German länder, Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden-Württemberg - in the actual Kaiserslautern, and also in Landstuhl, Baumholderu, Sembachu, Germersheim, Grünstadtu, Miesau, Mannheim and Pirmasensu. Together with the components of the air force forms a component of the army of the so-called Kaiserslauternskou military community (Kaiserslautern Military Community). This is the region with the largest military presence of u.s. armed forces outside the united states.
