05.07.2016 - Brazílie: nehoda F-5-FM Tiger II

The Brazilian air force (Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB)) lost the aircraft Northrop F-5FM Tiger II, reg. 4806, v. no. IS1005, both pilots successfully ejected. The entire incident occurred during the final phase of the approach to landing when a malfunction occurred preventing a safe landing. The pilots ejected after guiding the aircraft into an uninhabited area of the Santa Cruz Air Base (Base Aérea de Santa Cruz (BASC)).
