Federální služba vojska Národní gardy [2016- ]

The president of the Russian federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on 5. Converted was even the Federal state unitary enterprise Protection (private security service the MOI, which provides on a commercial basis). Part of the Troops of the National guard have become even detachments of fast reaction (SOBR), mobile detachments of special designation (OMON), aviation units of the MV and the Centre of special purpose of forces of operative reaction and aircraft of the MV.

FSNG and its components have, inter alia, ensure and in cooperation with other authorities involved in the protection of public order and security, to ensure the exceptional conditions, on the fight against terrorism, the fight against extremism, on the territorial defense of the federation, on protection of important state objects, for the protection of the transport of special loads and for the protection of the state border.

The same day was signed by president Putin of the regulation, which abolished the Federal service for control of narcotics and the Federal migration service. Their functions and staff were transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of internal affairs.
