the Open Blue
This archaeological open air museum focusing on the Great Moravia, arose on the site with settlements from the period of the existence of the Great Moravia. In the Blue was detected already in 1. half of the 20. century church, whose remains were later identified as great moravian, and it was further found, that should be the oldest church in the us at all, as it seems the previous of the arrival of Cyril and Methodius. A replica of the church dedicated to st. John was built nearby the place where is marked the church of the original and located outside their own premises open air museum. The open-air museum is spread over a fairly large area, with the whole surrounded by a palisade and entrance is through the gate. The whole area is broken down into several parts, which differ in their purpose and socio-economic stratification of society, we can here find a common semi-recessed buildings, but also masonry sacral or secular buildings. Mention must be made of the place of production as is the need to blacksmith or pottery workshop. However, most of the buildings is a wooden or dřevohlinité design. Represented here is the whole range of identified types of buildings, whose remains were uncovered during archaeological excavations, especially in the last 60 to 70 years. For the location of the wound says that it in the located area even the animals like goats, sheep, pigs or poultry, which complete the idea, as if the area was commonly populated. There are a variety of cultural events.
