Avia A60
In the context of privatization bought the prague car manufacturer Avia in 1995, south Korean company Daewoo and renamed it to Daewoo Avia. In 1997 started the production of the new generation of the truck series And to replace the long-produced a series of A21 and A31. It was about the models A60, A65, A75 and A80, which were compared to the previous series offered in a wider mass range. Despite the considerable similarities with the older cars A21 and A31 it was practically brand new automobiles, characterized by using a new riveted frame, rigid front axle, front disc brakes, the smaller wheels and the engines on the performance 76 kW or 85 kW complying with the emission standard EURO 2. The driver's cabin remained the same, however, underwent a modernization and a few exterior modifications to improve aerodynamics, and the use of more plastics to reduce weight and fuel consumption. Redesigned was its interior. The most important change, however, imagined the possibility of its tipping, and thereby achieve a significantly better access to the engine.
Compared to the previous generation A21 and A31 however, there were a series of new vehicles range And significantly smaller, while some models have arisen only in the hundreds of pieces.
