The libyan government of prime minister Abdullah Sáního wants to import 150 tanks, two dozen fighter jets, seven attack helicopter, tens of thousands of assault rifles and grenade launchers and millions of rounds of ammunition from Ukraine, Serbia and the Czech republic. The libyan ambassador at the UN Ibrahim Dabbashi said that without these weapons is not the ability of its government to face the militants of the Islamic state.
At least seven members of the security Council of the united nations, including the US, Britain and France, on Tuesday postponed approval of the libyan request for lifting the arms embargo. Saturday didn't recommend to allow the importation of weapons into Libya, observers of the united nations.
