leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (3,7cm Pak)(Sd.Kfz.250/10)
le.Schtz.Pz.Wg. (3.7 cm Pak) (Sd.Kfz.250/10) was created as a support vehicle for platoon commanders in units of leichte Schützenkompanie (gepanzert). The unit had three platoons, which means that in the state of the unit was a trio of Sd.Kfz.250/10 (organizational regulation K.St.N.1113 of 1.3.1942). Amendment K.St.N.1113gp of 1.11.1943 replaced the trio Sd.Kfz.250/10 with a newer version leichter Schützenpanzerwagen (7,5cm ) (Sd.Kfz.250/8). The original unit leichte Schützenkompanie (gepanzert) was probably changed to Pz.Aufkl.Kp. (Gp.).
The vehicle was not a platoon commander, but was an accompanying support vehicle of the command vehicle. The cannon was used in practice as a support weapon against infantry (fragmentation ammunition), not as an anti-tank weapon.
The vehicle was created on all versions of the basic platform Sd.Kfz.250 (Sd.Kfz.250Z Ausf.A, Sd.Kfz.250E Ausf.A and Sd.Kfz.250 Ausf.B).
