In 2004 he was appointed deputy director of the Office for foreign relations and information (NARROWER). In the framework of the civilian intelligence service responsible for intelligence and operations. Until 2011 he worked as a liaison officer NARROWER in Washington.
Since 2011, Beroun drove the Czech branch of the american detective agency Pinkerton.
