Zdravím všechny. Při přepisování dědova deníku z VV - 11. bitva na Soči jsem narazil na tento zápis:
20. června (1917) jsme se stěhovali na jiné místo, postavili nám tam pod ten vrch (merzu, nurzu???) a stříeli na vrch Kuk. Jest to velký kanon, má 30 1/2 cntm. silnou střelu a asi 80 cntm. dlouhou.


Určitě jde o moždíř 305mm, ale co ten název? Určitě je to nějaká hantýrka, ale nevím co to přesně je. Že by z německého morser? Poradíte, pls.

Merza=mörser, normální "počeštění", zkomolenina, podobně jako jiné vojácké termíny - zuk, marškumpanie atd.
