After what Iraq received in the past days, 5 Russian Su-25, is the iraqi air force once again strengthened by another 7 iranian Su-25, which is operated by the air force Iranian revolutionary guards (Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force - IRGCAF).
Most of iranian Su-25 landed on Imam Ali Air Base 01.07.2014 and the total number of Su-25 operating in Iraq rose to 12. It is ironic that it is the original iraqi aircraft, which was přelétnuta to Iran in 1991 to avoid the air attacks of the allied forces.
Three Su-25UBKM and four Su-25KM will be piloted by 4 iraqi and 10 by iranian pilots.
