Note:		 1) Mobilizace pluku byla o několik hodin opožděna z důvodu neobdržení mobilizačního rozkazu. Když se ráno v kasárnách začali hlásit četní mobilizovaní vojáci a důstojníci, velitel pluku se telefonicky informoval co se děje. Teprve v 11.45 hod. obdržel mobilizační rozkaz. Začátek mobilizace ve 14.00 hod.
2) Po bojích s 13. pěší divizí (motorizovanou) a 29. pěší divizí (motorizovanou) byla 05.10.1939 podepsána kapitulace Samostatné operační skupiny „Polesí“. Na jejím základě pluk zničil své těžší zbraně a 06.10.1939 v rámci Podleské jezdecké brigády kapituloval.
3) Eskadrona byla ještě před mobilizací (22.08.1939) z pluku vyčleněna a s mateřským plukem se spojila teprve v den kapitulace. Bližší údaje viz 1. eskadrona 5. hulánského pluku.
4) Odpoledne 13.09.1939 eskadrona ztratila spojení s velitelstvím pluku. Spojení bylo navázáno 15.09.1939.
5) V boji u obce Mień byla eskadrona rozdělena na dvě části. Jednu četu s velitelem eskadrony si podřídil II. zástupce velitele pluku (ubytovatel), pozdější velitel Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku a připojil se k jednotkám Suvalské jezdecké brigády. 20.09.1939 byla tato četa z důvodu nízkých počtů zrušena a její huláni zařazeni do 1. a 4. eskadrony. Dvě čety zůstaly ve stavu pluku a byly 21.09.1939 doplněny částmi pochodové eskadrony 3. pluku jízdních střelců.
6) Při nočním přesunu jako zadní voj pluku ztratila s plukem spojení. 15.09.1939 navázala spojení s 1. eskadronou a stala se součástí Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku.
7) Eskadrona působila četami v rámci jednotlivých jezdeckých eskadron. Velitel eskadrony s velitelským rojem byl s velitelem pluku. Po rozdělení pluku (13.09.1939) disponoval velitel eskadrony pouze jedním kulometným družstvem. Podle Anderse měla 15.09.1939 ve stavu 8 těžkých kulometů a po doplnění 21.09.1939 pochodovou kulometnou četou a měla ve stavu 12 těžkých kulometů.
8) Jednotlivé kanóny byly přiděleny jednotlivým eskadronám. V uvedených zdrojích nejsou o zániku čety uvedeny žádné údaje. Podle Anderse měla 15.09.1939 ve stavu 2 protitankové kanony a 21.09.1939 měla ve stavu 3 protitankové kanony. Velitel čety však byl v Korouhvi 5. hulánského pluku. Głowacki ani Wróblewski ji neuvádějí v sestavě pluku a ni v sestavě Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku.
9) V uvedených zdrojích nejsou o zániku čety uvedeny žádné údaje. Poslední záznam o činnosti čety je ze dne 12.09.1939. Czartoryski uvádí, že 21.09.1939 bylo k pluku zařazeno od 11 do 19 (kilkanaście) cyklistů z náhradní eskadrony. Głowacki ani Wróblewski ji neuvádějí v sestavě pluku a ni v sestavě Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku.
10) V uvedených zdrojích nejsou o zániku čety (družstva) uvedeny žádné údaje. Głowacki ani Wróblewski ji neuvádějí v sestavě pluku a ni v sestavě Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku.
11) V uvedených zdrojích nejsou o zániku eskadrony uvedeny žádné údaje. Je však známo, že část plukovního trénu vedl ubytovatel pluku a ta se připojila v rámci Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku k Jezdecké brigádě „Plis“. Głowacki ani Wróblewski ji neuvádějí v sestavě pluku a ni v sestavě Korouhve 5. hulánského pluku.
12) Baterie byla organizačně v sestavě oddílu, ale operačně podléhala veliteli pluku.
13) Byla to pochodová eskadrona 25. hulánského pluku zmobilizovaná v Náhradním středisku Novohradské jezdecké brigády ve městě Łuków. 21.09.1939 byla zařazena do sestavy 5. hulánského pluku jako jeho 5. eskadrona.
14) Baterie byla mobilizována v posádce Ostrołęka společně s 5. hulánským plukem. Při přesunu do nástupního prostoru tak byla podřízena bezprostředně jeho veliteli.

1) 14(15?).09.1939 (different data in the sources) was recalled by the commander of the brigade from the commander of the regiment and 16.09.1939 went to the replacement of the centre brigade in Wołkowysku with the task to ensure the supply and restocking of the brigade. With the units of the Reserve cavalry brigade got to Lithuania, later through Latvia and Sweden to England. There he was placed in disciplinary officers ' camp in Rothesay, where they were detained political opponents of general Sikorski. From 1941 he served in the Polish exile army, including in the Inspectorate of military administration (Inspectorate Zarządu Wojskowego). After the war he remained in the Uk.

7) To 08(09; 10?).09.1939 he was the commander of a squad machine-gun eskadrony. In several of the sources are listed different dates. In his post-war report is from 09.09.1939. From 06.10.1939 to 1945 in a German prisoner. After the war he returned to Poland. He died 28.02.1993 in Warsaw.
