Today marks 46 years since the massacre on the civilian population in the south vietnamese village of My Lai.
Members of the 23. infantry division Americal 16. march 1968 in the village of My Lai at the time of the Vietnam war, was murdered 347 to 504 (according to various sources, the number varies) of unarmed vietnamese civilians, mostly women and children. Many women have been before killing raped, a lot of victims then it was after the killing of the mutilated.
It was the biggest war crime that the US military in time of war in Vietnam committed.
