BVP-1MB
The upgraded infantry fighting vehicle, which pick up on the older type BVP-1MA. Originated in cooperation of the Czech military repair enterprise VOP 026 and the hellenic society Nik Kioleides in an effort to attract interest in the modernisation of these vehicles from the side of the Greek army, which in the autumn of 1993 purchased the 500 units of BMP-1A1 (and the only prototype trainer version) culled from the arsenal of the German Bundeswehr (it was originally a machine BVP-1 made in Czechoslovakia and operated by a German people's army). One prototype was built BVP-1MB, which was publicly presented in camouflage Greek army at a military trade fair Defendory 2002, which took place from 1. to 5. October 2002.
