Note:
Jednotky divize byly založeny z horských posádkových praporů v Geroně v měsících květnu a červnu 1937. Pokračovala v ústupu, dokud koncem března neopustila aragonské území a zakotvila v Lleidě, kde týden odolával frankistické ofenzívě. Některé brigády divize – 145. a 146. The division's units were established from the mountain garrison battalions in Gerona in May and June 1937. Here they completed a training period before leaving for the Aragon Front. Immediately after training, the division was sent to the Aragonese front for the Zaragoza offensive. Between August and September, she intervened in the Battle of Belchite and later in operations to try to conquer the city of Fuentes de Ebro. At the end of 1937, the division, consisting of the 143rd, 144th and 145th Mixed Brigades, had a strength of 8650-8800 men. At the beginning of Franco's attack on Aragon, she covered the front in the Mediana and Quinto sectors, where she was forced to retreat on March 11, 1938, when his hips were besieged. During the retreat, a large number of division and brigade commanders took the opportunity to join the Frankish forces. Once this city was lost, it concentrated in Llardecans. In the campaign in Aragon, the division was severely damaged, so it proceeded to a profound reorganization. During the months of May and June 1938, she excelled in the fighting on the Segre line. It covered the Republican bridgehead in Villanova de la Barca, established on May 21, which it managed to maintain until June 17. Some units of the division took part in the fighting on the Serós bridgehead, where they carried out numerous unsuccessful attacks between 25 and 28 May. On August 9, 1938, part of their troops took part in a new attack on Villanova de la Barca, where they managed to build a bridgehead, although after 3 days of fighting they had to return to Segre. She took part in the Battle of Ebro, where she was transferred on September 9, 1938. She was in the Villalba de los Arcos-Puebla de Masaluca sector, where she remained until October 6, when she was transferred to Coll del Coso. Between October 8 and 20, she suffered numerous attacks that claimed heavy casualties and lost the Venta de Camposines. On November 8, the remains of XIV were dissolved. international brigade, which was subordinate to the division. What particularly affected the 140th Mixed Brigade - which the Francoists took advantage of and inflicted on the sector of this brigade. The fighting that followed in the following days left the 140th Brigade very exhausted. On November 12, she crossed the Ebro north of Ascó again. After the fighting on Ebro, the unit's forces were placed in the rear to be reorganized. At the beginning of the Catalan campaign, the troops tried to resist, but in the face of enemy pressure, they decided to withdraw from the Segre line inland. Some of the division's brigades - the 145th and 146th - barricaded themselves without success in Juncose, a city that tried to defend along with other units. Then the unit disappeared.
