In Tripoli was a squad of U.S. special forces detained Nazih Abdul-Hamed al-Ruqai, known by his alias Anas al-Libi, who is on the list of persons wanted for involvement in attacks against american embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998. Due to the fact that he was bin Laden a similar, often used to confuse the security forces, when a terrorist leader somewhere traveled. In 1995 he moved to Britain, where he received political asylum and for some time lived in Manchester. Libya is reportedly back in 2011 during the civil war, which led to the overthrow and death of libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
Now al-Ruqai located in american custody on the closer neupřesněném place.
