15.03.2013 - Rusko: Návrat Sojuzu TMA-06M odložen o 24 hodin

Return of the Soyuz TMA-06M delayed for 24 hours[/heading]

This is a message I got today from Paul Toufara and because it is, as well as anything he writes virtually complete and at the same time extremely interesting, přetiskuji it unchanged. Thanks Paul!

Today's the return of the trio of astronauts from the station ISS control centre CUP in Kaliningrad near Moscow is postponed for one day due to inclement weather in the planned landing site in Kazakhstan, north of the Arkalyku. Due to the fog and mrznoucímu the rain, it would be risky to send out to the place of landing of helicopters and other components of the search group.

It's nothing dramatic, of any extraordinary event.

For the bad weather is delaying returns and other spacecraft or shuttles. The soyuz was the last time in 1999. These robust vessels, which are landing on the dimensional carrier of a parachute, can handle even adverse weather conditions, but the essential thing is to take no risk after landing with regard to the safety of air and ground rescue units.

The return of the trio of astronauts was postponed for 24 hours because the weather forecasters predict improvement in the weather.

The crew Ford (USA), Tarelkin and Novickij (Russia) remained yet in comfort on board the ISS together with a trio of core crew station – Hadfield (Canada), Marshburn (USA), Romanenko (Russia). Hadfiel is now the first commander of the ISS from Canada.

The new date for landing tomorrow on Saturday 16.3.2013:

Disconnection of Soyuz TMA-06M will take place in 0:43 pm our time, to the beginning of descent from orbit will occur at 3:012 pm and to land in the area Arkalyku at 4:06 pm our time.

For two weeks the station will issue a trio of Vinogradov, Misurkin (Russia) and Cassidy (USA) and the station will once again have a crew of six members.

In Kazakhstan already, from Houston, via Canada and Scotland, he flew a special aircraft NASA Gulfstream III N992NA. On his board is, inter alia, the head of the us astronaut Robert Bob Behnken, himself a former cosmonaut (from the space flights of the space shuttle Endeavour). Form the official delegation, which has a trio of Soyuz TMA-06M welcome at the place of landing.
