The French kidnapped agent Denis Allex was killed by terrorists from the group Al-Šaháb during the attempt of the French forces on his liberation. During this operation killed two members of the French forces, 17 islamists and 3 civilians.

Deniis Allex was held in captivity in Somalia 110 miles south of Mogadishu since July 2009.
