T249 Vigilante
Anti-aircraft artillery vehicle based on the lowered and extended OT M113 chassis. The armament used was the 37mm, six-barrelled T250 automatic cannon using the Gatling design (development of the cannon took place in 1956-1962, with a total of 6 prototypes produced). The Vigilante was developed as a replacement for the self-propelled PLdvK M42 Duster.
During the 1960s, 3 prototypes of the vehicle were tested, but serial production was not started due to insufficient effectiveness of the armament.
