26.07.2012 - Genetická analýza africké populace poukazuje na míšení s jinými hominidy

This is a message that is a little older, however still very interesting for the theory related to antropogeneze.

In a study entitled "Evolutionary History and Adaptation from High-Coverage Whole-Genome Sequences of Diverse African Hunter-Gatherers" made on a sample of roughly 5 individuals from different isolated african hunting/gather populations: Pygmies from Cameroon and from two different pygmejských groups from Tanzania, further individuals of the Hadza and Sandawe, analyzes the genetic diversity of african populations (particularly isolated strains, without significant influence of blending with the surrounding modern populations).

The report then delivers some interesting findings:
1) the Authors have identified a total of 13.4 million genetic variations, of which about 5 million of them then is for us absolutely new.
2) the Genetic diversity of people of African descent is much greater than anywhere else in the Country (confirming previous studies), which would indicate the validity of the theory of Africa as the cradle of modern humans (the so-called "Founder Effect"). The results of some older studies then showed that the more we pull away after the migration routes of early Homo Sapiens further away from Africa, genetic diversity is shrinking, respectively, in finite regions, in essence, becomes unified.
3) a Very interesting finding is, however, the discovery of several single nucleotide polymorphisms that were not found in the genome of today's modern people from other areas of the Country. This indicates that most likely occurred on these stocks to "crossing" with yet apparently unknown hominidem. Some of the authors have spoken and the hypothesis that it was a "cousin" of the neanderthals, however, this hypothesis probably does not hold water for the reason that the polymorphisms do not look/not even human Homo sapiens not to Homo neanderthalensis. Another problem in this theory is that sequences are not found in modern man anywhere outside Africa.
