Dear colleagues,
according to the website below, the Astros II missile system has been exported to the following countries:

Angola
Unknown number of sets, export date unspecified. Missiles reportedly deployed against Unita forces. I consider this information unreliable as it has not been confirmed from South Africa!

Bahrain
Unknown number of sets between 1982 and 1987. After 2000 they were replaced by 9 M270 MLRS kits.

Brazil
Delivered 24 new kits with SS-30 missiles in 1997-1998. Currently 64 more sets with SS-60 missiles are in service.

Iraq
66 sets for SS-30 missiles and 20 sets for SS-60 missiles, between 1982 and 1989. At the same time, a licence for the production of SS-60 (Sajil-60) missiles was sold. Deployed in combat with the interventionists.

Iran
Revolutionary Guards, reportedly captured several sets of Iraqi Sajil missile launchers.

Qatar
4 sets in 1992 with SS-30 or SS-40 missiles.

Malaysia
36 sets in 2003-2006. Larger calibre reportedly used by coastal defence.

Saudi Arabia
60 sets between 1982 and 1987 with SS-30 or SS-40 missiles. Combat deployed in the Gulf War. According to Wikipedia, SA has 74 sets in its arsenal.
