Does anyone know this miracle?
I'm not sure if it's a German vehicle at all, I only put it here because German officials are sitting in it.

This is a design by Hans Trippel: SG-6, nicknamed: Trippelwagen.

I don't know, I don't know if this is exactly this ... I SEE THE DOOR in the photo above and I DIDN'T HAVE TRIPPEL ... The shape of the body doesn't match much either - especially the "collar" around the passenger compartment ... The supply of cooling air under the flap on the bow also doesn't seem like much to me for Trippel ... Maybe a prototype, but I'm not sure about that at all.

I'm not very at home in the amphibians, so I went through all the wars before posting, but none of them fit me. I ruled out the Trippelwagen for the very doors and cuffs around the body.
It will probably be something else, because even on the pages whose links were inserted by my colleague Tintěra, there was no similar vehicle among Mr. Trippel's constructions. So if I looked well: D

Dear Sirs, I'm sorry, a mistake has crept in! I swapped my notes between types SG-6/37, SG-6/38 and SG-6/41.
In fact, it is SG-6, model 1938, an Opel product designed by Hans Trippel.
A colleague of Bitax published Opel's doorless version: the SG-6, the so-called 1941 model.

So that it would be SG-6 Pionier ??? The door and the collar around the crew compartment and the shape of the glass would match that. I'm just confused by the number of "16 engineers" listed in the table - I would say it could be a typo - more than 6 maniacs just can't fit in there ...

It is really a prototype Tripel, as a colleague of Tintěra writes, the machine was developed for quite a long time and the original version had a door, which was canceled at later (perhaps changed specifications, or due to simpler production) vehicle tested in VW did not prove the best quality larger) and was therefore produced only a smaller series of about 1000 pieces, which served mainly in the SS. This photo is from tests sometime in 1939/40, it is quite well known.

Just to be precise, the production cars were not Opel products, although they used the six-cylinder of this brand, the production ran at the Bugatti company in Mohlsheim, where all serial parts were produced. sources is usually only SG6 or only gelandewagen trippel. Given that older versions were never built, there was no reason to introduce the year when it was made as a prototype. The prototype (prototypes) underwent relatively extensive reconstructions and perhaps the mentioned collar can be just one of them, it is not clear whether the "pioneer" version was really built as a new machine, or whether it was a reconstruction of an existing or just a confusion with SS8 colonial pioneer . In general, there is quite a lot of unclear information about Trippel cars and there are not many serious sources. I should have something at home about prototypes and tests, but it's scattered around various books and it's a question of whether it's worth looking for

I'll add some Tripel SG-6 photos. Perhaps they will be topic-pricking to more accurately identify versions and create separate themes. Resp. when there are multiple versions of SG-6, it would be nice to develop Bitaxe's theme.
