15 cm German strength howitzers for revolving towers
The gun was created at the beginning of the nineties of the nineteenth century in the design office of the Krupp arms factory. It can be assumed that its development and production were carried out in parallel with the heavy field howitzer, which was introduced into service in 1893. It is interesting that compared to the field version is a strength weapon identified only as spired howitzers, without any additional data.

It was a model from 1893, with the breastplate of the section height 14 cm, or about the version of 1895, whose armour reportedly reaching a thickness of 19 cm (another indication of the possible thickness of the armour is shown in the table).
