Annotation | At the turn of the years 1940 and 1941 launched by the allied forces in Egypt, the offensive actions, which inflicted a severe defeat of the Italian armies in north Africa, which pushed away from the Kyrenaiky. In February 1941, therefore, to Tripoli arrived German general Erwin Rommel, followed by units of the German african corps. In the following two years, this corps and its commander, have become legends of the mediterranean theater of war.
