In 1943, the Porsche company began work on a new tank design, or in this case an assault gun.
Initial specifications called for a small compact vehicle made of die-cast armour, armed with a 10.5 cm howitzer with a magazine of 60 cumulative rounds. The weapon was to have a range of 8° to either side, with a pointing range of -7° to +15°. The crew was to consist of four men (driver, commander, gunner and loader). The commander was to have a conning tower with ten observation periscopes. The new machine was to have extremely heavy armour (nose - 120 mm, sides/rear/ceiling - 80 mm, bottom - 30 to 50 mm). The total weight was to reach 25 tonnes. The machine was to have small dimensions, the height was to be only 1950 mm, the ground clearance was to be 500 mm.
According to the order of Adolf Hitler himself dated 15 May 1943, all newly designed vehicles were to have anti-aircraft armament. In this case, the MK 108 3 cm MK 108 from Rheinmetall was chosen for the task.

The first conceptual design of the design is dated 29.7.1943. The MK 108 gun was to be located in the conning tower. There were two turret designs (fixed and fully rotatable turret). The cartridges (700 pieces) were strapped in seven metal cartridge belts. The armouring of the sides, rear and ceiling was reduced from 80 mm to 70 mm compared to the initial specifications. The number of rounds for the howitzer was to be 44, the weight of the machine was to be about 27 tons. The chassis was to consist of six overlapping travelling wheels 780 mm in diameter, the tracks were to be 600 mm wide.

The second conceptual design of the design is dated 3 February 1944. The technical data of this design proposal is in the table above. Both the actual shape of the structure and the platform were redesigned, the undercarriage being six non-overlapping all-steel running wheels of 600 mm diameter. The wheels were paired. The tracks were 550 mm wide.

The third conceptual design of the design is dated 7.4.1944. The design was the same as the previous one, the change was the main gun armament, where it was planned to use a 10 cm PAW (Panzerabwehrwerfer).

The Last conceptual design of the project, dated 1 June 1944, envisaged the use of an infrared device for the gun sight and a stereoscopic rangefinder located in the conning tower.

The project was only at the stage of considerations, probably no preparations for the construction of a prototype were started. In the critical situation of German industry, it was an interesting project, but further fragmentation of the production load of German factories was not desirable and the project was cancelled. The production itself would probably have been problematic, where the casting of large parts of the structure would have made major problems. The shape of the machine closely resembled that of the later Jagdpanzer 38(t). It's just my speculation, but perhaps the project was also inspired by the very similar Romanian tank fighter project Mareșal.
