The USAF announced that the previous day, i.e. 24. October 2011 approximately 16:45 local time, northwest of the town of Alamo, state Nevada, crashed fighter aircraft F-15C Eagle from the base Nellis AFB. The Pilot ejected and was taken to the hospital. Walked away without injury.
The inhabitants of the county of Lincoln County reported your sheriff is a massive explosion and plume of smoke about 5 miles west of highway 93. The Pilot was picked up by a military helicopter about 30 minutes after the crash.
At the base of Nellis are a type of F-15C armed with some departments of the local 57th Wing. This is the the 65th Aggressor Squadron and 433rd Weapons Squadron.
