Air Force Magazine announced that it had temporarily lifted a ban on flights of fighter aircraft F-22A Raptor. The lifting of the ban covered only the aircraft stationed at the base Langley AFB, the state Virginia, and only after a period of evacuation of cars the F-22 (from condition 1st Fighter Wing) before hurricane Irene. After the execution of the evacuation on the base Grissom ARB, the state Indiana, it was ground type, the F-22 resumed in full. With the temporary lifting of the ban on flights is expected to return Raptor back to Langley.
