On the occasion of the 145. anniversary of the war year 1866 I published as a book an annotated list of 952 austrian officers who have fallen or died in the field the campaign of 1866 on all contemporary battlefields and how the north and south of the front. Including the fighting in central Germany and in Dalmatia. In the past, such a monumental and complete work yet no one has gone before, nor by the authorities compiled lists are not complete. For this reason, it is a completely unique publication završující my sixteen-year-old research work. The book is written in the form of the lexicon and are in it vzpomenuti all the austrian officers, who, during the war of 1866, lost their lives, and therefore it included not only the fallen, but also deceased at the consequences of injury or illness and accident etc. In the text itself then I always say the entire name with all its existing variants, classification and rank. About a quarter of the persons I add a brief biography or any description of death if I was from the available literature, the list of which consists of 211 titles, I know. The list is supplemented by similar information on 40 individuals whose deaths I consider to be questionable. Included are three overview table according to different classifications, according to the engagement, according to the units and according to rank.
