The British firm Vickers-Armstrong developed the "Six-ton tank" for export only in two variants: - the single-tower Mark E Type B; - the twin-tower Mark E Type A.
The tanks were sold to Bolivia, Bulgaria, China, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Greece, the Soviet Union and Thailand.
The British 6-ton tanks were the template for the licensed production of Soviet infantry escort tanks T-26. An estimated 12,000 of all versions were produced between 1931 and 1941.
Other licensed modifications were Polish tanks, known as: the VAU-33 (Vickers-Armstrong-Ursus, 1933) and the 7TP (7-ton Polish). The Polish-looking abbreviations "dw" and "jw" are not part of the official tank designation, rather they are a fashion hit of Western European publicists.

E verzie B. Tank mal vo veži lafetovaný 47 mm kanón. no súčasťou dodávky nebol koaxiálny guľomet Vickers. Namiesto neho bol namontovaný ťažký guľomet Maxim. Bulhari za tanky zaplatili 35.598.000 leva. Tanky dorazili do Bulharska v dvoch dodávkach 4.1.1938 a 25.7.1938 a stali sa súčasťou 2. roty bojových vozidiel (dve čaty á 4 tanky). V bulharskej armáde niesli tanky pomenovanie "Vickers".
1)V závere ich životnosti boli všetky v stave 1. tankovej brigády a všetky mali byť v roku 1945 zošrotované. V skutočnosti boli zošrotované len 3 tanky, zvyšných 5 tankov bolo uložených v delostreleckom depe. Čo sa stalo s nimi v ďalšom období je neznáme.

Diskuse
Vickers 6 ton Mark F, Another difference from the Type B version was the extension of the fighting area and thus a different slope of the armour plate over the engine. The louvres covering the cooling fan exhaust extended down to the intake level. These differences stand out by comparing photos of Finnish Vickers, for example, with photos of Vickers delivered to China. Another difference of the Finnish Vickers Mark F is the location of the turret, this was placed on the left, when viewed from the front. The machine on display at the Bovington Museum is therefore most likely a Vickers 6 ton Mark F.
Vickers Mk E's delivered to China also had a modified turret for radio mounting. I would tend to see the length of the fighting compartment and the slope of the plate covering the engine compartment as the main distinguishing feature between the E and F versions.
