The command of american ground forces, and Russian arms export company Rosoboronexport signed a contract with a total value in excess of $ 300 million for the supply of 21 specimens of the multi-purpose helicopter Mil Mi-17V5, including spare parts and support services, to Afghanistan. Delivery of the first nine helicopters will take place in October this year and the remaining 12 during the year 2012.
