America's oldest and youngest aircraft carriers met in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea. The USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) was arriving on a scheduled mission to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), and the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) is ending her tour with the 5th Fleet. Several sailors from both ships were transported by helicopter to the other ship so they could meet their relatives serving there.
