23.06.2011 - V Rusku havaroval MiG-29

A MiG-29 crashed in Astrakhan region today. Two pilots were killed. The plane disappeared from radar at 16.43 hours near the town of Akhtubinsk.

A defence ministry spokesman said the Russian air force had suspended all flights of MiG-29s pending an investigation into the crash.

It should be a machine of the type MiG-29KUB belonging to the Indian Navy, most likely to the squadron INAS 303 "Black Panthers" (IFTU).
