Australské ministerstvo obrany zrušilo projekt vývoje vyloďovacích člunů třídy LCM2000. Tyto čluny byly vyvinuty pro výsadkové platformy třídy Kanimbla a už od začátku trpěly různými neduhy. Bylo postaveno celkem 6 těchto člunů - označené AB 2000 - AB 2005. Celková cena projektu byla 40 mil. australských $.
