Generator EC 6 kW type ČSAD-6-3/1-400/231 - in terms of performance, it belongs to the group of so-called small power plants. It is used for the production of alternating three-phase and single-phase current with a voltage of 400V and 231V, a frequency of 50 Hz, with an output of 7.5 kVA. Use: As a backup source of lighting for workplaces and buildings, the drive of single-phase and three-phase appliances and power supply for communication/communication and radio equipment with a power input of up to 7.5 kVA.
In terms of transport, this is an EC so-called transport/portable. This is made possible by the design solution: The generator set (fuel tank, drive motor and alternator with switchboard) is mounted on a common frame made of metal tubes and it is flexibly mounted (on the so-called silenblocks) on the foundation structure ("sled").
Main parts: - Frame - Engine: ZB-8ASE (petrol, two-stroke air-cooled two-cylinder, capacity 689 cm3 with foot start) - Alternator: BG 32C (synchronous, three-phase, two-pole, 3000 rpm) - Switchboard: ZR 722 (output: 1x single-phase socket (230V/16A), 1x three-phase socket (400V/16A) incl. Appropriate fuse) - Interference filter - Accessories (eg exhaust pipe extensions, refueling aids, power cables, basic spare parts and tools) - Wooden box for accessories and spare parts
Technical parameters: Unit weight: 260 kg Weight of accessories box: 27 kg Unit dimensions: 1140 x 508 x 764 mm Dimensions of the box with accessories: 645 x 427 x 195 mm Fuel consumption: (petrol OČ 91) 6.5 l/Mh Tank capacity: 23 l Use at temperatures: -40 ° C to +40 ° C Operation: l machinist

EC 6 kW ČSAB-6-3/1-400/231
This type of EC was, for example, in sets of radio stations R -140P.

Diskuse
The missing number 231 after the slash is merely the result of truncation of the designation. That is, 400/231 stands for pooled/phase voltage. In the R-140 radios, there was a single power pack in the vehicle and in addition to the motor starter, it also had the option of hand starting. The "kicking" kľuka was replaced by a long arm with a plastic handle that could be used to start the power unit. This required a rather sharp jerk with considerable force. The significance of the markings ČSAB-6-3/1-400/231V = Czechoslovak gasoline generator set - active power 6 kW(7,5 kVA)- 3/1 phase (it is also possible to power single phase appliances) - combined voltage 400 V/phase voltage 231 V

Peace, Hello and thank you for confirming my conjecture in my last post on this thread. I was "a little" unsure about the fact that the 6 kW CSAB-6 EC was also fitted to the R-140X. I admitted that it was originally a version of some "Soviet AB-6-T/400" (well, not!).

Greetings to all fans of war technology. I would like to advise where to get a carburetor cap from an EC 6 kW electric generator. Or if it would be possible to fit another one. Thanks to all who will answer me.

Hello, would anyone be interested in this power plant? I will be selling it soon. What is the real selling value? The condition is well preserved, it was last driven 5 years ago, so it will need cleaning etc. Thank you.
