A chemical indicator used to detect the presence of hazardous substances. It can be used as portable, transportable or stable. Power supply is possible from the built-in 4 x 1.5 V power supply (large monocell) and from the vehicle's on-board 12 to 24 V mains. It detects substances by means of detection tubes through which air is pumped. Hazardous substances colour the contents of the tubes according to type and concentration. at temperatures below +15 degrees, the tubes must be heated in the heating section of the instrument (on the side).
