Od 9.12.2010 sa počet Slovenských vojakov v operácii ISAF zvýši na 314 (zo súčasných 299). Zvýšia sa počty nasadených vojakov na veliteľstvách operácie (zo 6 na 12), ďalej počet vojakov slúžiacich v národnom podpornom prvku (NSE) (z 12 na 16) a navyše začne v Kandaháre pôsobiť štvorčlenný tým na likvidáciu výbušnín (EOD).
