Bolingbroke Mk.I

A licensed version of the Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV (canadian production retained the original name of the prototype, while the british series of the machine have been renamed). The first 18 machines (702-719), constructed from british components and according to the original drawings, it was basically exactly the same and in Canada served as a maritime patrol (u 8. squadron in nova scotia) and for the training of crews, that's why two machines were given the dual management.

Bolingbroke Mk.II

Engine 712 was after the accident, adjusted for the different equipment (more readily available than the original british) of american origin and renamed. The experience of its operation have been used in the development version of the Mk.IV.

Bolingbroke Mk.III

Machines 702 and 717 were in 1940, modified to float the chassis of the firm Edo period and were tested for possible use float version in the Pacific ocean. Mass production was not, despite successful tests, launched and both machines were in the course of 1942 returned to its original state.

Bolingbroke Mk.IV

Bolingbroke Mk.IV was the standard maritime patrol form with american avionics. Due to traffic in the north were all machines equipped with rescue boats dinghy and distribution of de-icing fluid.

Bolingbroke Mk.IV-W

Fourteen of the 151 Mk.IV was due to the fear of lack of engines, the Mercury is equipped with american Pratt & Whitney R-1535-SB4G Twin Wasp Junior on the exercise of 615 kW. The lack, however, did not occur and other machines with Twin Waspy built were not. Due to the smaller performances were Mk.IV-W load capacity of only 227 kg of bombs.

Bolingbroke Mk.IV-C

For the same reason, one machine got the engines Wright GR-1820-G3B Cyclone of 671 kW. The performances were so much better than the standard machines that was launched serial production - especially when the supply of engines, the Mercury was sufficient.

Bolingbroke Mk.IV-T

Most of the machines Mk.IV was built as a practice Mk.IV-T, a total of 457. The first of them were delivered in April 1942. The last 57 were delivered with engines Mercury XX. 51 other machines with the same engines were built, but were taken over by the air force. Part of the machines Mk.IV-T should place a standard tower Bristol tower Boulton Paul Type C with two machine guns.
