The ŽkČ combination detonator is used for adjustment in fuses that do not have their own fuse or primer : Ro-2, Ro-4, Ro-7 II and Ro-9. It is used for adjusting mines where a short explosion delay is required.
The detonator consists of an aluminium casing with a rim. There is a molded pentrite charge at the bottom and a primary explosive charge at the top. A delay roller is inserted between the detonating casing and the primary explosive charge.
ŽkČ detonators are manufactured with a delay of 1, 2, 4 and 6 seconds. The delay time is stamped on the bottom of the detonator.
