Detonator W is used for adjustment in detonators that have their own match or igniter: Ro-1, Ro-6, Ro-8, Ro-8 II, Ro-10, Ro -30 and in the anti-personnel shrapnel mine PP Mi-Sr II.

It is used to adjust the electric igniters P-1 and P-2, when in this connection it can replace the electric detonator.

The detonator Ž consists of an aluminum tube, which has a charge of pressed pentrite in the lower part and a primary explosive charge in the upper part.

Detonator Ž is used to detonate individual charges, ignition nets or lightning rods. It is also used for the industrial production of the time detonator ČaRoZ-60. It belongs to the category of incendiaries. The explosion is caused by detonator, lightning bolt or electric torches P-1 a P-2.

Main parts:
The aluminum sleeve with a diameter of 6.95 mm and a length of 44 mm forms the body of the detonator, on the one hand it is firmly closed by the bottom and on the other hand there is an insertion hole .valka.cz] zapalnice nebo bleskovice.

The secondary filling fills roughly the entire lower half of the tube, containing 0.8 g of pressed pentrite.

The primary explosive charge is located above the secondary charge approximately in the middle of the cavity. Contains 0.3 g of highly explosive lead azide.

Aluminum fuse with hole separates the primary charge from the insertion area fuses or lightning rods. It has the shape of a small cup and is provided with a hole in the middle. It is used to release fire from the soul of black dust fuse to the primary charge .

Business Description
Perpendicularly cut end zapalnice after insertion into the socket rests on top of the fuse . After the soul of the black dust in the fuse burns, the fire in the fuse flashes through the hole in the fuse. Ignition of the primary charge will cause an explosion transformation (ignition). From the primary charge (lead azide), the ignition is transferred to the secondary charge (pressed pentrite). The explosion of the secondary charge from pentrite will also detonate the charge.
If we insert a lightning rod into the detonator, there will be no ignition by burning the vein of black dust as in /url], but the ignition in this case causes an explosion of the lightning rod charge (the soul of the lightning rod is made up of 90% pentrite and 10% tritol).
However, Bleskovice is used to ignite the Ž detonator only exceptionally in the absence of BP-1 lightning detonations.

Safety when working with a detonator Ž
Due to the fact that the primary charge of the detonator Ž consists of a sensitive explosive lead azide, it is necessary to observe certain safety principles and rules when handling it. The detonator must be handled with the utmost care, avoiding blows, impacts, friction, deformation and heating from flames or sparks. It is strictly forbidden to scrape or in any other way try to remove the detonator charge. It is also forbidden to remove dirt from the insertion area fuses
or lightning bolts by any objects, or by blowing into a detonator or by other violent means to clean it. Do not use detonators obviously damaged or deformed for blasting work, if they are in the space for insertion fuses (lightning rods) traces of oxygenation, or lead azide explosive and expired. In case of finding dirt in the space for insertion zapalnice (bleskovice) detbuškou tap the fingernail lightly and try to shake the dirt out of the socket. If this does not help, do not use the detonator and destroy it at the end of the task with residual ammunition. Detonators must be protected from wetting, which can lead to a total failure of the ignition network.Carry detonators only in special wooden boxes and always work with only one piece of detonator.

Ways of packing detonators Ž
Ž detonators are packed in special wooden boxes. The bottom of the boxes is covered with felt and inside the boxes are made holes (beds) for each detonator separately. One box is always equipped with 15 holes (beds), ie it can hold 15 pieces of detonators Ž. The box is closed with a special sliding lid, which allows the uncovering of only one bed with a detonator. This will prevent a large number of detonators from falling to the ground during awkward handling. In addition, each individual special box is wrapped in paraffined paper and coated with wax. This wrapper is removed by tearing the twine around the perimeter of the wrapper lid and then removing it. This method of packaging ensures the protection of the detonators Ž during transport against mechanical damage and dampness. When transporting a larger quantity, 200 boxes of 15 pieces of detonators Ž are always stored in transport boxes. One transport box can hold up to 3000 pieces of detonators Ž.
