Roman camp in Brno - Vojtově the street

During the rescue archaeological research has been discovered hrotitý a trench in the shape of the letter "V" in the length of around 70 m with an orientation approximately north-south. Zahlouben was 1.6 m deep from the level of the original ground, and in its widest upper part should be 2.8 - 3 m. This finding was found in the area was the roman short-lived camp formed in the context of the roman campaign against the germans more as markomanské war. This discovery was substantiated by the presence of roman troops on the territory of present-day Brno and it was the extended knowledge of the extent of their movement. Moat of the same shape has been documented earlier, about 50 m from the site of the current award, but it was only about a documented profile on the excavation of the sewer without the archaeological movable material. Mostly these trenches are not charged during the use of the camp, but here they managed to find a nearly complete broken bowl provincial provenance. Another of the attractions is captured by the burial in the ditch of the time, when this was already partially clogged, but it still was still noticeable. Here you will still waiting for further analysis.
